Breakup Between Alix Earle and Braxton Berrios
Alix Earle and her NFL star boyfriend Braxton Berrios have reportedly ended their relationship after two years of dating. The couple, who celebrated their two-year anniversary just weeks ago, have reportedly decided to go their separate ways.
Berrios shared a photo on November 11, showing a bouquet of roses sent by Earle to mark the occasion. However, just 25 days later, the pair have now officially split. Fans had been speculating about the possibility of a breakup after the couple did not show any signs of reuniting following the end of Dancing With The Stars.
According to a source, the majority of their relationship was long-distance, which made it challenging for them to maintain their connection. The couple had also spent Thanksgiving apart, further adding to the difficulties in their relationship.
As news of the breakup started to circulate on Saturday night, Earle posted a series of photos from Miami. Meanwhile, Berrios, who plays for the Houston Texans, is preparing to face the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night.

The split comes less than two weeks after Earle, 24, finished second in this year’s season of Dancing With The Stars with partner Val Chmerkovskiy. Berrios, 30, was unable to attend any of Earle’s live shows due to his NFL commitments. However, he did send a video message to her, saying: “I’ve watched you pour everything into this since the moment it has started, and I think it shows. Good luck. Have fun, babe.”
A source told the Daily Mail that Alix has not been happy with the direction their relationship was heading. They spend a lot of time apart, and they recently spent Thanksgiving separately. The source added that she is happy in Los Angeles and is preparing for the DWTS Tour, while Berrios is in Texas for football and does not have much downtime.
“They’re trying to make it work, but both of their busy schedules are getting in the way. It’s definitely not the same relationship it was two years ago,” the source said.
Despite their busy schedules, the couple managed to put their dancing and football commitments aside in October when Earle hosted a lavish birthday party for Berrios during the Texans’ bye week. Berrios shared a heartfelt tribute to his girlfriend, along with several pictures of the celebration. He captioned it: “I hope everybody gets to feel as loved as I felt this weekend. There’s nothing better than being surrounded by the people you love that traveled across the country to be there for you. Alix, I don’t know how you pulled this surprise off, but I’m so thankful you did. What a way to start 30!”
Earle responded in the comments, writing: “Love you.”

Earlier this year, Earle admitted she struggled with the long-distance aspect of their relationship but downplayed break-up rumors. In a vlog, she said: “I think this is kind of like my first go at a real long-distance relationship. When it comes to our communication, it is harder than usual. We have not had a lot of problems in our relationship, but it has definitely just been a different obstacle.”
