A Celebratory Month for Louise Cooney and Mark Sweeney

Mark recently completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, marking a major accomplishment in his professional journey. The couple shared this milestone with their two-year-old son, Jude, who was the center of attention during the graduation ceremony.
In a social media post, Louise reflected on the challenges Mark faced while pursuing his MBA. She mentioned that he started the program shortly after the birth of their son, highlighting the difficulty of balancing academic responsibilities with being a new father and maintaining a full-time job.
Louise expressed her pride in Mark’s efforts, writing: “A delayed post to mark my HUSBAND’s graduation last week. Taking on an MBA with a newborn and a full time job is no easy feat and you have worked so bloody hard over the last 2 years, we’re all so proud of you.”
She humorously added: “P.S. neither of us would recommend to a friend with a newborn at home… but you did it.”
Louise made a stylish appearance at the graduation, wearing a light pink dress from the Australian brand Aje. She rented the dress for the occasion, which is now sold out in baby pink but still available in black for €320. She paired the dress with a white blazer by Cork designer Sinead Keary The Label and a pair of white Dior heels.
The couple recently celebrated their wedding in a beautiful church ceremony in Tipperary, followed by an elegant five-star wedding at the Cashel Palace Hotel. Louise is still getting used to calling Mark her husband, as they have been together for five years and met online during the pandemic.
Since their meeting, Louise and Mark have grown stronger as a couple, welcoming their son, Jude, in November 2023. Their journey from online connection to marriage and parenthood has been nothing short of inspiring.
